Observaciones sobre dos nidos de iguana verde (Iguana iguana) en "La Mancha", Veracruz

Resumen

Here we report some incidental observations on two iguana [Iguana iguana) nests at la Mancha, Vecracruz, México. Temperatures in the nest sites were measured daily during the incubation period. Twentv one reading in 1 991 and twenty six in 1 992 were taken at several depths (surface, 20 and 35 cm) during tree weeks at different times of the day. We observed the behavior of the female at the nest and the diurnal nest emergence and behavior performed by hatchlings. Emergence peaked between 1 1 30 h and 1 300h in both years
