Resumen
Natural history of nesting of the wasp Ammophila aberti Haldeman during autumn 2006-2007 in Baja California Sur, Mexico is described. While this wasp has been found in Mexico, this is the first record of this
behavior in the subtropical, arid zone of North America. A comparison with nesting observations in other places was made. Two species of ants are predators of these wasp larvae.
