Resumen
Los asílidos son un grupo importante para los ecosistemas por su papel ecológico como depredadores, pues contribuyen a mantener en balance las poblaciones de insectos. No obstante, en México se sabe poco acerca de su diversidad y sus interacciones ecológicas. En este trabajo, se analizó la estructura de una comunidad de asílidos colectados durante tres años en una selva baja caducifolia del centro de México. Dado que en este tipo de vegetación las temporadas de sequía y lluvia son muy marcadas y generan cambios bióticos y abióticos drásticos, que podrían repercutir en las poblaciones de asílidos, se comparó la estructura de su comunidad a través de tres temporadas: fría, seca y lluvias. En total, se colectaron 191 individuos determinados en ocho especies y 21 morfoespecies. La temporada de lluvias presentó mayor riqueza y diversidad de especies, así como una composición de especies distinta en comparación con las temporadas fría y seca. No obstante, la abundancia no varió significativamente a través de las temporadas. Además, se reportan 14 géneros y diez especies no registradas con anterioridad en el estado de Puebla.
